PIANO INSTRUCTORS

Matt is an accomplished pianist and keyboard player whose work has spanned across a variety of genres to include Jazz, R&B/Soul, Rock, Pop and Americana. Growing up in a musical family, Matt developed an interest for music at an early age. He began piano lessons at the age of 4, encouraged by his mother who is a music teacher. He eventually went on to study jazz piano at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Upon graduation, Matt enlisted in the U.S. Army to become an Army Bandsman. He completed his military service in 2023, relocating to Nashville, TN to pursue his music career.

Matt has performed and collaborated with a variety of internationally recognized artists to include Fred Durst, Dennis Chambers, Jeff Coffin, Fareed Haque, Sofia Goodman, Grace Bowers, Moga Family Band, Steve Leslie, Ambrosia and many others. Matt has 10 years of experience teaching private lessons as well as in small group/classroom settings. He aims to provide his students with the tools necessary to achieve whatever their musical goals may be.
